Monitoring Weather and Evaporation Near the Great Salt Lake (2025 Watershed Symposium)

Presented at the 19th Annual Salt Lake County Watershed Symposium, November 19-20, 2025. The UUNET Network has been monitoring weather and the changing climate near the Lake since 1998. Current research is assessing instrumentation required to accurately assess evaporative loss directly from the lake surface and from other land surface types surrounding the Lake.
