South Korea continued to attack with their serves, but Japan's reception faltered, resulting in high balls, yet they still managed to score points. Furthermore, Ishikawa's pipe attack and Yuji Nishida's spike from the right side secured breaks, extending Japan's lead to 11-6. Ran Takahashi blocked the opposing opposite hitter, leading to three consecutive breaks to make it 14-6, prompting South Korea to call their second timeout. Opponent errors and Ishikawa's service points further widened the gap to 21-10. South Korea's powerful serves disrupted Japan's reception, but Kento Miyaura, who came in as a substitute, scored a high ball to save the day. Miyaura's excellent serves led to two consecutive breaks, and Japan won the first set 25-13. The first point of the second set came from a fine play by Tomohiro Yamamoto, followed by a spike by Ran Takahashi. Riding this momentum, Japan broke serve three times in a row, taking a 4-0 lead, prompting South Korea to call a timeout. Japan continued to break serve, extending their lead to 7-0. After that, the game became a back-and-forth affair, but Ishikawa's service ace made it 13-5. Japan's momentum continued, and they earned break points with their characteristic total defense. With the help of Shoma Tomita, who came in as a relief server, Japan won the set 25-11. The third set began with a block point for South Korea. In the early stages, South Korea broke Japan's serve, putting them behind 1-5, the first difficult situation of the match. However, a service ace by Takahashi broke their momentum, and Onodera's serve secured consecutive breaks, giving Japan an 8-6 lead. After that, Japan regained their rhythm and pulled away from South Korea with service aces, leading 14-9. At this point, Otsuka Tatsunori was brought onto the court, and Nishimoto Keigo and Tomita were brought on after the 20-point mark. Thanks to the efforts of the substituted players, Japan won the third set 25-14, securing a 3-0 victory in sets.
