Lesson 12, Scrolling and Stacking Layers to Create A Basket Weave

A video about using the scroll saw to cut pieces for layering to produce different effects. Other videos I have done, stack cutting for multiple pieces and inlay, you stack and then cut. With this procedure you cut then stack or layer. This pattern makes a basket weave box and I really like the outcome of these type of patterns. To me the critical part is properly matching the layers to make it look like a weave. It also must be cut properly. Looking ahead at the individual steps is needed to be sure each step leads to a good final fit.
