BLACKPINK’s Lisa Faces Backlash Over Her Upcoming Single “Tarantino”?!

BLACKPINK’s Lisa is facing criticism from netizens after sharing a teaser snippet for her upcoming song “Tarantino.” Some fans praised the creativity, but many criticized the title, pointing to director Quentin Tarantino’s controversial history, including his well-known use of the N-word in his films. Some fans also tied the title to people in Lisa’s circle, though those claims are fan opinions and haven’t been addressed by Lisa or her team. Others went after the snippet itself, calling the sound repetitive and the lyrics corny, with some saying she’s still following the same formula despite her comments about YG in her recent documentary. Supporters pushed back, arguing a short teaser isn’t enough to judge the song’s message and that naming a song after a famous figure isn’t an endorsement. The reaction comes shortly after her “SaWaDiKa” teaser also drew criticism. 📅 “Tarantino” is scheduled for release on October 23. Do you think the title crossed the line, or are fans reading too much into it?
