Banana Pancakes with Bacon, Chilli & Syrup

This is someone else's banana pancake recipe that I will be loosely following, and adding a few flavours of my own choosing... This is the recipe: https://www.allrecipes.com/recipe/203... I changed it by ignoring the instruction to mix wet ingredients in a separate bowl - all in one is just fine. Also, I used butter instead of vegetable oil in the mixture.
