Couple Art (Adelia & Maeve)

A lovely illustration I made for one of my most frequent VGen clients, Kumquat! This time, they asked me to draw Maeve and Adelia, two beautiful bat girls. Since it was a surprise commission, I incorporated all the lore references provided to me and built on the idea that they love traveling the high seas. In this piece, Maeve and Adelia are about to set sail on a new ocean adventure! Adelia thinks eating a Kraken tentacle is a great idea, while Maeve holds a personal grudge against it for stealing her cherished gift: her violin. What do you think? Does a delicious Kraken takoyaki sound good to you while sailing the high seas?
