The Insurance Investigator | The Brokers Man Season 1 Episode 2

After a chemical tanker driver, Harry Forest, deposits 20 tons of toxic chemicals (althium) into the local water supply, over 200 residents file claims for illness and ruined holidays. Insurance investigator Jimmy Griffin is hired to limit the company's financial liability. Upon deeper inspection, Jimmy uncovers that the spillage was no accident; the executives of Mercia Water and Chemroot Tankers deliberately orchestrated the pollution to artificially drive down share prices before a major takeover bid, allowing them to net millions through insider trading.
