Climbing Riffelhorn

Join me on a climb of Riffelhorn! This relatively easy climb begins after taking a ride on the Gornergrat Bahn and short-roping to the south face of the mountain. The route climbed here is called The Egg, and ascends 6 pitches graded up to French 4b (US 5.5). Climbed with Alpine Ascents International as part of a 7-day Matterhorn program. We unfortunately had poor weather for a Matterhorn summit attempt, which just means I'll have to go back and try again!
