Seiyhama hosts 4th Organic Naga King Chilli Festival

The 4th Organic Naga King Chilli (Raja Mircha) Festival 2026 was held at Seiyhama village in Kohima district on August 29. Organisers said the village has harvested about 1,700 tins of king chilli so far and expects another 1,500 tins, taking the annual harvest to around 3,200 tins. With 180 of the village’s 482 households engaged in king chilli farming, the annual income from the crop is expected to reach INR 30-32 lakh. #KingChilli #RajaMircha #Seiyhama #Nagaland #EasternMirror
