🍺 *THE SOBERKART SHOW LIVE! | IOWA BEER REVIEW + OKTOBERFEST!* 🏁🍺 The *50-State Beer Tour* is officially entering a new season! Tonight we're heading to *Iowa* for Beer #39 — and we're kicking off a little *Oktoberfest theme* as we make our way through the final states of the journey. 🍺 *Tonight's Beer:* Hofbräu Oktoberfest 📍 *Representing:* Iowa 🔢 *Beer #39 of 50* So why are we drinking a German Oktoberfest beer for Iowa? Because Iowa has a **deep German brewing heritage**, and that connection is still alive today. The German Iowa Project has documented the incredible influence German immigrants had on Iowa's brewing history, including the fact that *more than 130 German breweries were operating in Iowa by 1878.* And today, Iowa continues to have a strong connection to German culture and Oktoberfest celebrations. So as we work through the final states of our 50-State Beer Tour, it felt like the perfect time to crack open a classic *Hofbräu Oktoberfest* and start celebrating Oktoberfest SoberKart-style. 🇩🇪🍻 🔥 *THE OKTOBERFEST MINI-TOUR BEGINS!* For the next few weeks, we're going to lean into the season and sample some of the classic Oktoberfest beers we've been eyeing.
