🌧️ *A trek that almost didn't happen!* Mahuli Fort Trek, Maharashtra — one of the most memorable monsoon adventures with friends! Our plan to trek Mahuli Fort was almost cancelled because the fort had been closed by the District Collector due to heavy rainfall and red alerts in the region. But after coming across recent Instagram posts from people who had visited the area, curiosity got the better of us. We spoke to some of them, learned about an alternate trail, and decided to explore the adventure. What followed was a beautiful yet challenging journey through a dense monsoon jungle, surrounded by lush greenery, mist, slippery trails and the raw beauty of the Sahyadris. We eventually made our way to Mahuli Fort, explored the historic surroundings, enjoyed the incredible atmosphere and made some unforgettable memories with friends.
