Historic National Road stop: Brazil, Indiana

The next town/city after Terre Haute on the National Road in Indiana is Brazil. Brazil holds its annual "Highway 40 Fest". Next to the Clay County Historical Society building is a National Road tribute park, where there is a kiosk and a brick paving of the state of Indiana. I also briefly stroll down Brazil's main street (U.S. 40), where I have lunch at Lynn's Pharmacy, a classic old soda fountain shop.
