Business Solves 2026: Day 1

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation’s flagship corporate citizenship conference highlights how businesses address society’s greatest challenges. Attendees gain specific examples of how businesses are driving change and discover partnership opportunities to advance the important work they’re leading in communities. We also reveal the winners of our annual Citizens Awards—nine organizations that are utilizing their unique talent, resources, and expertise to improve communities. 0:00 Welcome and Event Announcements 2:28 Business Solves 2026 Opening Welcome 3:02 Purpose Talk: Transformation and the New Era of Corporate Purpose 16:16 Opening Panel: Rebalancing the Business of Philanthropy 42:07 Citizens Awards Opening Remarks 46:36 Winner Announcement: Best Civic Engagement Program Award 51:09 Fireside Chat: Connecting Trust, Civic Action, and Societal Strength 1:10:36 Business Impact and Food Security Solutions 1:34:08 Networking Break 1:47:50 The Hidden Cost of Caregiving 2:06:44 Places and Spaces: Trails, Access, and Corporate Impact 2:31:13 Winner Announcement: Best Sustainability Program Award 2:37:37 Innovation with Purpose: Expanding Entrepreneurship 3:06:56 Lunch Break 3:31:16 Lunch Program: Solve Together Award Presentation 4:23:05 Dessert Reception and Networking 4:40:45 Unlocking Opportunities and Building New Pathways 5:00:03 Winner Announcement: Best Economic Opportunity and Empowerment Program Award 5:09:13 Global Brief: Judicial Fellowship Program 5:20:24 Partnership Spotlight: A Blueprint for Housing 5:39:17 The Interrupt: A Solution to Lift Community Health 6:11:40 Winner Announcement: Best Health and Wellness Program Award 6:19:21 The Mission Generation: How Purpose and Service Can Help Business and Government Thrive 6:42:54 Unlocking Opportunity for Everyone, Everywhere 7:02:00 Actionable Resilience: Strengthening Communities and Small Businesses 7:22:29 Winner Announcement: Best Disaster Response and Community Resilience Program Award 7:28:20 Day 1 Closing Remarks
