Trans Nzoia Governor George Natembeya and Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna attended the burial of Senior Assistant Inspector General of Police (SAIG) Lazarus Simiyu Opicho in Trans Nzoia County, where some political leaders were denied an opportunity to address mourners during the official funeral programme.
