Charlotte Henrich, Johanna Martin, and Anastazja Kus were all within fractions of each other as the race reached its decisive phase. Martin, carrying the blue bib of Europe's fastest this season, had no choice but to impose herself from the outside — and she did exactly that. Kus came from deep to threaten late.
