EMINEM'S MOST UNDERRATED ALBUM?! | Dad Reacts to Relapse

IS THIS EMINEM'S MOST UNDERRATED ALBUM… OR HIS MOST DIVISIVE? 👀 In 2009, Eminem returned after years away from releasing solo studio albums with Relapse — and it was unlike anything he'd done before. The accents. The horrorcore storytelling. The disturbing imagery. The ridiculous rhyme schemes. And of course, Dr. Dre's production. This is an album that has divided Eminem fans for years. Some consider it one of his most technically impressive projects, while others feel the accents and subject matter get in the way of the music. But one thing is hard to deny… Eminem was RAPPING on this album. In this episode, my dad and I react to Eminem's Relapse and talk about: Eminem's return after his hiatus and struggles with addiction The controversial accents and unusual flows His intricate rhyme schemes and technical ability Dr. Dre's production throughout the album The dark storytelling on songs like “3 a.m.” and “Stay Wide Awake” The emotion behind “Beautiful” and “Déjà Vu” The balance between horrorcore, humor, and personal vulnerability Whether Relapse deserves more respect in Eminem's discography What's interesting about this album is how differently people hear it. Some hear an artist experimenting with characters and pushing his technical abilities. Others hear an album that went too far with the accents and shock value. So where does Relapse actually rank?
