We rode the TVS Ntorq 150 from the capital of India to the capital of Bhutan in the fastest time possible. The 1800km+ ride from New Delhi to Thimphu across international borders was conducted in under 30 hrs of riding time. This also made the TVS Ntorq 150 set a new Asia Book of Record for the fastest scooter ride between these two capital cities. ✅ Important points ➡️ Start point : New Delhi ➡️ End point : Thimphu ➡️ Total distance : 1882.9km ➡️ Total riding time : 29 hrs, 13 min ➡️ Peak temperatures : 45 degree (Day 1 - Uttar Pradesh) ➡️ Peak elevation : 8500 feet (Thimphu) ✅ Route : New Delhi - Agra Expressway - Lucknow Expressway - Purvanchal Expressway - Basti - Gorakhpur - Muzzafarpur - Siliguri - Jaigaon - Phuentsholing - Thimphu The ‘Fastest ride to complete India to Bhutan road trip on a scooter’ was attempted with an aim to showcase the long distance riding abilities of the TVS Ntorq 150. Never before has a scooter ride been attempted between the capitals of India and Bhutan. The TVS Ntorq 150 was ridden from Delhi to Thimphu in the following manner. Do note, day time riding time was noted for the final record ✅ Day 1 : Delhi to Basti via Agra Expressway & Lucknow Expressway Distance : 862.9km Riding time : 11hr 4min Terrain - pure expressway driving for most of the route. The TVS Ntorq 150 was cruising between 90-95 km/h in peak summer heat. Average fuel economy stood between 32 and 34 kmpl. ✅ Day 2 : Basti to Simarahi via Muzzafarpur ➡️ Distance : 525.2km ➡️ Riding time : 7hr 37min ➡️ Terrain - Mostly 4-lane highway with moving traffic. Cruising speeds were 85-90 km/h and average fuel economy shot up to 38-40 kmpl. ✅ Day 3 : Simarahi to Pheuntsholing via Siliguri ➡️ Distance : 376.6km ➡️ Riding time : 6 hr 27min ➡️ Terrain : 4 lane highway with moving traffic. We also rode alongside the Nepal and Bangladesh borders today. Paper work for humans / vehicles at Jaigaon border took 2 hrs before we entered Bhutan and stayed in the town of Pheuntsholing. ✅Day 4 : Pheuntsholing to Thimphu ➡️ Distance : 153.8km ➡️ Riding time : 4hr 1min ➡️ Terrain : Mountain roads, uphill rider from 1000 feet to 8500 feet above mean sea level.
