CAPITAL STEEZ: The Real Reason Behind the Suicide of a 19-Year-Old Rap Star

Capital STEEZ, the 19-year-old founder of the influential Pro Era hip-hop collective, battled severe, untreated mental illness while navigating a ruthless music industry. This documentary investigates the corporate negligence surrounding his psychological deterioration. As his paranoia and spiritual obsessions escalated, industry executives marginalized him in favor of more marketable peers, exploiting his foundational creative work without providing necessary psychiatric intervention. We examine this systemic abandonment, which culminated on the night of December 23, 2012, when Steez tweeted "The end." and jumped to his death from the roof of his label's Manhattan headquarters. #CapitalSTEEZ #ProEra #MusicIndustryExposed #HipHopHistory #MentalHealthInMusic #IndustryNegligence #DarkSideOfFame #SystemicExploitation #DarkDocumentary #RecordLabelExploitation
