We can finally go WHEREVER we WANT in this Harry Potter 1 (PC) OPEN WORLD Custom Mod!

As I said many times in the best for a lot of the custom content we have been playing on this channel, it is honestly impressive how good the modding community of this game has gotten at what they are doing! We are nowadays getting projects done and finished that were deemed impossible to do just a couple of years ago. And making an open World mod for Harry Potter 1 (PC) was definitely one of those projects. People said it would not work with the way the game is made and the code holds everything together so we only got very scuffed and faulty versions of it in the past. The best example for that is probably the Harry Potter 1 (PC) "Restored" mod that adds additional content and sort of leaves you to explore the open world castle as well in the end but that one just never really worked super well. So Mantis took it onto himself to finally build a proper working and polished version of a Harry Potter 1 (PC) Open World Mod! And I believe that it was really difficult to do and he had to go through quite some lengths. For example I believe that this mod works with the Harry Potter 2 (PC) coding somehow and he just rebuild HP1 on top of it again. Either way, all the work has really payed off because this mod is now a really great experience of how this game could have been if the devs had just a little bit more time! I think we would have all been even crazier for this game as kids if it had a true open world like this instead of being mostly linear levels. This really makes it feel more like and adventure game and one big journey to discover everything this castle has to offer. The end goal for this mod is also to play Bingo on it like we do already in Harry Potter 2 (PC). So whenever people have managed to come up with a couple of good Harry Potter 1 (PC) Bingo goals and the client is completely out of BETA testing and ready to go I will come back with another showcase of some Bingo matches.
