While I’m continuing to sort through clothes, shoes, and pieces I already own, I’m also thinking about how our personal style changes, how we express ourselves, and why “elegance” so often gets associated with being understated. Can bold prints still be elegant? Can statement shoes still be classy? Do designer logos automatically make a look “loud”? And does style get judged differently as we get older? For me, I’m learning that class isn’t about wearing beige, staying quiet, or blending in.
