Donald Trump's nephew, Fred Trump III, says his uncle told him to "let him die" about his own disabled son. Trump's team calls it "completely fabricated." But long before that phone call, there was a letter, and that one is on the record. This is the file on the Trump family's other branch: the one that lost. We start with the 1999 funeral of Fred Trump Sr. and the baby born the next day, William, who started having seizures within hours. We follow the fight over the will, the letter that ended the family's medical coverage one week after Fred III went to court, and the words Donald Trump used to explain it. Then we go back to Fred Trump Jr., the older brother who wanted to fly, to the 1927 arrest that put Fred Sr.'s name in the New York Times, to the Oval Office in 2020, to Maryanne Trump Barry's secret tapes, and to the phone call in Fred III's memoir, All in the Family. Every exhibit in this documentary is a real document. When a claim rests on one witness, we say so, and we show the other side's answer. EXHIBITS A · Fred C.
