First Impressions On: ADACA

[Released July 26, 2022] On this episode of First Impressions, we head to frontier planet ADACA, where we have the option of a linear campaign or the more open Zone Patrol mode. In either mode we play as a prisoner serving their sentence via conscription into corporate mercenary service and equipped with a robotic arm that also functions as a gravity gun. In the campaign, Jessy Thorn is awakened from their pod only to learn that Maahes PMC never got around to actually waking them up when the ship came down on Adaca generations ago. Now they find themselves thrown into a conflict between the local Free Scrappers and the law. In Zone Patrol, Sgt. Lexy Abrams is actively serving with her assigned PMC, Vakt. They send her down into the Zone of Exclusion on Adaca to investigate it on behalf of a mysterious client. As you might expect, the Zone is full of strange and dangerous phenomena, hostile soldiers and cultists, and valuable artifacts. We're pretty much given free reign to explore the Zone and find out what we can, though Lexi can also return to the orbiting Vakt ship to cash in any artifacts for some new guns in the armory.
