450KM UAE Family Road Trip 🇦🇪: Hatta, Fujairah, Oman, Khorfakkan & Hidden Places. Cybertruck Drive

What happens when you wake up the family on a Sunday morning and tell them: get in the car, we’re going on a road trip? 🇦🇪🚗 Tesla Cybertruck Experience رحلة عائلية 450 كم في الإمارات 🇦🇪: حتا، الفجيرة، عُمان، خورفكان وأماكن مخفية We left Dubai at 8:30 in the morning with no ordinary plan ahead of us. Almost 450 kilometers of driving, spectacular mountain roads, different Emirates, a little piece of Oman hidden inside the UAE, great Lebanese food, and plenty of surprises along the way. Our first major destination was Hatta, surrounded by the dramatic Hajar Mountains. We visited the beautiful Hatta Dam, discovered how much the area has changed over the years, and enjoyed the incredible contrast between the mountains, greenery and water. From there, we continued east toward Fujairah to experience something the kids had wanted to try for a long time: the famous Fujairah Musical Road! 🎵🚗 Drive at the right speed over the grooves in the asphalt and the road itself starts making music. But the biggest geographical surprise was still ahead. We drove into Madha 🇴🇲, an Omani territory completely surrounded by the United Arab Emirates. Then, inside Madha, we crossed back into the UAE to visit Nahwa 🇦🇪 — a tiny territory belonging to Sharjah that is completely surrounded by Oman, which itself is surrounded by the UAE! UAE → Oman → UAE… without the usual international border-crossing experience. Then it was time for Khorfakkan and a well-deserved Lebanese feast at Habib Beirut, overlooking the spectacular waterfall. Hummus, tabbouleh, fried cauliflower, kibbeh, meat, fresh bread and some seriously impressive Lebanese desserts — authentic Lebanese flavors in one of the UAE’s most beautiful settings. And because we’re driving electric, the Tesla became part of the adventure too. We charged several times throughout the day, discovered new charging stations and even explored a new mall while waiting for the car. We started at 8:30 AM and spent the entire day exploring the country we’ve called home for almost two years. Desert, mountains, dams, the sea, Fujairah, Hatta, Khorfakkan, Oman, great food and family time. Sometimes you don’t need to take a plane to discover something new.
