The “Cornell 7”: No One Was Charged. Here’s Why

UPDATE (Oct. 1, 2026): No one has been criminally charged. The Tompkins County DA says he plans to present evidence to a grand jury. The civil lawsuit is ongoing. We will update this description when there is news. In October 2024, a Cornell student says she was drugged and sexually assaulted at the Chi Phi fraternity house. In September 2026 she sued seven former members. Within a week, a case closed for two years was reopened. This film walks through the night as the lawsuit describes it, the messages, the campus process, the district attorney's decision, the defense, and what happens next.
