We Took Nagato... But Our Ally Blocked the Way! | Total War: Shogun 2 Part 9

The Shimazu invasion of the mainland is finally underway! After defending Kyushu in the last episode, we push into Nagato, use our ninja to help prepare the attack and launch an assault on the settlement at Hagi. The battle goes about as well as we could have hoped — a Decisive Victory with just 38 men lost from almost 2,000 deployed — and Nagato becomes our newest province. But taking it creates another problem. Our closest ally is also sitting directly in the path of our expansion, leaving our army effectively boxed in. So diplomacy comes into play. We negotiate military access and start planning the next move: push through towards Aki and try to capture it before our allies do. The mainland campaign has officially begun. 00:00 Our Ally Has Blocked the Way... 00:08 Back to the Mainland Campaign 08:37 Our Ninja Targets Nagato 08:50 The Attack Begins 09:43 Battle for Nagato 11:25 Breaking the Defenders 15:08 Decisive Victory! 15:13 Nagato Is Ours 19:15 Planning Our Next Expansion 22:03 We're Boxed In 23:53 Negotiating Military Access 28:27 Aki Is Next 30:04 Can We Beat Our Allies There? #TotalWar #Shogun2 #TotalWarShogun2 #Gaming #LetsPlay
