നമ്മൾ Christian ആണെന്ന് പറയുമ്പോൾ… നമ്മുടെ ജീവിതത്തിന്റെ യഥാർത്ഥ standard എന്താണ്? ലോകം പറയുന്നതാണോ? Success… Money… Comfort… Recognition… Security… അല്ലെങ്കിൽ **ദൈവത്തിന്റെ വചനം തന്നെയാണോ നമ്മുടെ ജീവിതത്തിന്റെ മാനദണ്ഡം? ✝️ ഒരുപക്ഷേ നമ്മൾ Bible വായിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. Old Testament അറിയാം. New Testament അറിയാം. പക്ഷേ ഒരു വലിയ ചോദ്യം: Bible എന്നത് ശരിക്കും എന്താണ് നമ്മോട് പറയുന്നത്? Malayalam-ൽ തന്നെ നോക്കിയാൽ ഒരു വലിയ സത്യം കൂടുതൽ വ്യക്തമായി കാണാം: പഴയ ഉടമ്പടി — Old Covenant പുതിയ ഉടമ്പടി — New Covenant അപ്പോൾ എന്താണ് ഈ **ഉടമ്പടി (Covenant)? ദൈവവും മനുഷ്യനും തമ്മിലുള്ള ഒരു നിയമകരാർ മാത്രമാണോ? അല്ല. It is the story of God trying to restore the relationship, communion and harmony that humanity lost through sin and disobedience. ദൈവം മനുഷ്യനെ സൃഷ്ടിച്ചത് അവനിൽ നിന്ന് അകന്നു നിൽക്കാനല്ല. God created humanity for communion with Him. എന്നാൽ മനുഷ്യൻ ദൈവത്തിൽ നിന്ന് അകന്നപ്പോൾ നഷ്ടപ്പെട്ടത് ഒരു blessing മാത്രം ആയിരുന്നില്ല. നഷ്ടപ്പെട്ടത് ബന്ധമായിരുന്നു. നഷ്ടപ്പെട്ടത് communion ആയിരുന്നു. നഷ്ടപ്പെട്ടത് ദൈവത്തോടൊപ്പമുള്ള ജീവിതമായിരുന്നു. എന്നിട്ടും ദൈവം മനുഷ്യനെ ഉപേക്ഷിച്ചില്ല. വീണ്ടും വീണ്ടും… തലമുറകളിലൂടെ… ചരിത്രത്തിലൂടെ… God kept reaching out. Adam-നോടും, Noah-നോടും, Abraham-നോടും, Moses-നോടും, David-നോടും… ദൈവം മനുഷ്യനുമായി Covenant സ്ഥാപിച്ച് നഷ്ടപ്പെട്ട ബന്ധത്തിലേക്ക് മനുഷ്യനെ തിരികെ കൊണ്ടുവരാൻ ശ്രമിച്ചു. ഓരോ Covenant-ലും ദൈവത്തിന്റെ സ്നേഹവും വാഗ്ദാനവും അത്ഭുതകരമായിരുന്നു. But humanity kept wandering away. ഉടമ്പടി മറന്നു. ദൈവത്തെ മറന്നു. അനുസരണത്തിൽ നിന്ന് അകന്നു. വീണ്ടും വീണ്ടും പഴയ വഴികളിലേക്ക് മടങ്ങി. അപ്പോൾ ഒരു വലിയ ചോദ്യം ഉയരുന്നു: മനുഷ്യൻ വീണ്ടും വീണ്ടും വീഴുന്നവനാണെന്ന് ദൈവത്തിന് അറിയാമായിരുന്നില്ലേ? അറിയാമായിരുന്നു. അതിനാലാണ് Salvation History-ൽ ഒരു അത്ഭുതകരമായ turning point വരുന്നത്. ✝️ THE NEW AND EVERLASTING COVENANT മനുഷ്യൻ സ്വന്തം ശക്തിയിൽ ദൈവത്തിലേക്ക് തിരിച്ചെത്താൻ കഴിയാത്തിടത്ത്… ദൈവം തന്നെ മനുഷ്യനിലേക്കിറങ്ങി വന്നു. Jesus Christ. അവിടെയാണ് നമ്മുടെ Christian faith-ന്റെ ഹൃദയത്തിൽ ഒരു പുതിയ യാഥാർത്ഥ്യം ആരംഭിക്കുന്നത്. New Covenant. പുതിയ ഉടമ്പടി. Everlasting Covenant. യേശു തന്റെ തന്നെ ജീവിതവും രക്തവും സമർപ്പിച്ചുകൊണ്ട് സ്ഥാപിച്ച ഉടമ്പടി. ഇത് മനുഷ്യൻ ദൈവത്തോട് നൽകിയ ഒരു വാഗ്ദാനം മാത്രമല്ല. It is God’s ultimate initiative of love and salvation. നമ്മുടെ ദൗർബല്യം അറിഞ്ഞുകൊണ്ട്, നമ്മുടെ വീഴ്ചകൾ അറിഞ്ഞുകൊണ്ട്, നമ്മുടെ ഹൃദയത്തിന്റെ അസ്ഥിരത അറിഞ്ഞുകൊണ്ട്… God comes to save. God comes to restore. God comes to bring us back into communion. അപ്പോൾ New Covenant എന്നത് വെറും: “ഞാൻ സ്വർഗത്തിൽ പോകണം.” എന്ന ആഗ്രഹത്തിൽ ഒതുങ്ങുന്ന ഒന്നാണോ? Is going to Heaven the whole essence of Christian spirituality? അല്ലെങ്കിൽ… നമ്മുടെ ജീവിതം തന്നെ ദൈവത്തോടുള്ള Covenant relationship ആയി മാറേണ്ടതുണ്ടോ? ഇവിടെയാണ് ഈ പുതിയ series ആരംഭിക്കുന്നത്. ❤️ 🌿 A JOURNEY INTO THE NEW COVENANT ഈ episode ഒരു conclusion അല്ല. It is the beginning of a journey. Bible-ന്റെ Old Covenant-ുകളിൽ നിന്ന് New Covenant-ലേക്കും, അവിടെ നിന്ന് Christ-ൽ ലഭിച്ച പുതിയ ജീവിതത്തിലേക്കും, നമുക്ക് മുന്നോട്ട് പോകാനുള്ള ഒരു വലിയ യാത്രയുടെ ആദ്യപടിയാണ് ഇത്. ഈ series-ൽ നാം അന്വേഷിക്കാൻ പോകുന്നത്: • What is a Covenant? • Why did God establish Covenants with humanity? • What was lost through sin and disobedience? • Why did God continue reaching out to mankind? • What is the meaning of the Old Covenant? • Why was a New Covenant necessary? • What makes Christ’s Covenant eternal? • What did the Blood of Christ actually accomplish? • What does being a Child of God really mean? • And most importantly… If I am living under the New Covenant, how should I actually live? കാരണം ഒരു വലിയ ചോദ്യം ഇപ്പോഴും നമ്മുടെ മുന്നിലുണ്ട്: നമ്മൾ Christian എന്ന് വിളിക്കപ്പെടുന്നു. പക്ഷേ നമ്മുടെ ജീവിതത്തിന്റെ മാനദണ്ഡം ആരുടേതാണ്? ലോകത്തിന്റേതോ? അതോ… ക്രിസ്തുവിന്റേതോ? ✝️ നമ്മുടെ relationships… നമ്മുടെ family… നമ്മുടെ money… നമ്മുടെ ambitions… നമ്മുടെ decisions… നമ്മുടെ success… നമ്മുടെ suffering… നമ്മുടെ faith… എല്ലാം New Covenant-ന്റെ വെളിച്ചത്തിൽ വീണ്ടും കാണേണ്ട സമയം വന്നിട്ടില്ലേ? Perhaps Christian life is not simply about receiving what God promises. It is about becoming the people God has called us to be. Perhaps the greatest question is not: “What can God give me?” but: “What kind of person am I becoming because I belong to Christ?” 🌿 A New Covenant. A New Relationship. A New Identity. A New Life in Christ. ഈ series അതിലേക്കുള്ള ഒരു യാത്രയാണ്. ദൈവം മനുഷ്യനെ ഉപേക്ഷിച്ചില്ല. മനുഷ്യൻ വീണ്ടും വീണ്ടും അകന്നപ്പോഴും ദൈവത്തിന്റെ സ്നേഹം അവസാനിച്ചില്ല. അവസാനം ആ സ്നേഹം ഒരു വ്യക്തിയായി നമ്മുടെ ഇടയിലേക്ക് വന്നു.
