Welcome to daily life in the remote mountains of Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan. In this vlog, I take you through an ancient, traditional method of harvesting grass by hand using a local tool called "Bishk" (a traditional sickle/scythe). In these remote valleys, there are no machines or tractors — every step of cutting, drying, and stacking hay (creating traditional pyramid stacks known as "Tongu" and "Bala") is done entirely by hand to prepare winter feed for our livestock (yaks, cows, and goats). Join me as I spend the day working in the fields, helping my family, and sharing the peaceful, authentic culture of Northern Pakistan. If you enjoy authentic travel documentaries, rural living, and mountain culture, please like, comment, and subscribe to follow along on the journey!
