Stray Cats - Rock This Town - Tulsa, OK - August 7, 2026

I filmed Rock This Town from right at the front of the stage as the Stray Cats closed out their main set in Tulsa. Being this close, you could really see Slim Jim Phantom’s drumming style — the way he drives the beat while standing, leans into the snare, and throws in backup vocals that give the song extra punch. Brian Setzer ripped a sharp solo on one of his Gretsch guitars in the middle, then came back with another solo toward the end as the band pushed the song into high gear. Slim Jim finished it off with a flurry, and Tulsa was loud, locked‑in, and fully dialed into every riff and every switch.
