The Serpent Crown | Caesar's Triumph in Progressive Metal

A cinematic metal journey through Julius Caesar’s haunted triumph, where victory and omen walk side by side. "The Serpent Crown" blends ancient Roman ritual with dark atmospheric storytelling — a procession of Lictors, Senators, Magistrates, Trumpeters, and Standard‑Bearers moving westward along the Via Sacra, carrying the ghosts of conquest behind them. Witness a fusion of Caesar's separate triumphs over the Gauls, Ptolemaic Egypt, Kingdom of Pontus, and his civil war victory over Pompey. This music video fuses historical realism, mythic dread, and visual reconstruction of the Forum Romanum, the Temple of Saturn, and the Capitoline Hill. Dust, banners, bronze, and shadow create a world where triumph feels like prophecy — and Caesar’s footsteps echo with the weight of the dead. If you love cinematic metal, ancient history, ritual storytelling, or haunted Roman imagery, this is your world.
