Create a CLASSY Teal and Orange Look | Color Finale 2 Pro Tutorial

🎨 Get the PRO LOOK you're looking for → https://geni.us/AmazingFCPColorGrading [Get Color Finale 2 Pro for 50% OFF when you join the course!] Here's how to create the teal and orange look in Final Cut Pro using Color Finale Pro. In this color grading tutorial I'll start with why the look works at all, which comes down to teal sitting opposite skin tones on the color wheel. Then converting your log footage to Rec 709 properly, including the manual contrast and saturation work most people skip, and balancing your color using RGB overlay and curves. The core of it is building the look with HSL masks, an outside mask for the teal and an inside mask for the orange, and the blur feature is what keeps it from looking harsh. From there I get into secondary corrections with Six Vectors to refine skin tones, a Luma curve for contrast and depth, HSL curves to pull saturation out of your darkest and brightest areas, and how to exclude specific objects from a mask when it grabs something you don't want.
