Pakistan Tests Its Own FAAZ BVR Missile on JF-17

Pakistan’s successful FAAZ BVR air-to-air missile test from the JF-17 Thunder marks a major development in the country’s indigenous defence capabilities. Following the PL-15 missile's prominence during the May 2025 Pakistan-India conflict Pakistan has introduced its own Beyond Visual Range (BVR) missile technology. Developed by GIDS and first showcased at IDEF 2023. The FAAZ RF and FAAZ IIR variants feature advanced guidance systems, high-speed performance and long-range engagement capabilities. #pakistanmissile #bvr #pakistandefense #airtoairmissile #airwarfare #defensenews
