The purpose is to raise the production rate for small-length boxes. The length of the sheets run through the feeder is twice that of the length to be achieved in double-blank mode. In triple-blank mode it is three times this length. The sheet is then cut into two or three boxes in the forward direction of the machine by the die-cutter. The slots are made by the die cutter. In order to be able to stack these boxes in the TCE, the cut boxes must be spaced at least 100 mm apart from each other. Result: 2 or 3 times more productivity!
