He traces historical intersections between Buddhist and psychedelic cultures, from the Hippie movement to contemporary clinical research, and argues that the combination of rational-scientific and trans-rational-contemplative perspectives is particularly valuable for the responsible enculturation of psychedelic substances. The evening included a joint meditation and a structured discussion on the sociocultural roots of today's psychedelic renaissance. About Stefan Lang Stefan Lang is an authorized Buddhist Dharma teacher and expert in contemplative practice based in Bern. He already gave a talk at the INSIGHT Conference 2021, where he presented on Buddhist practices as an epistemic and ethical framework for psychedelic experiences.
