Mummy & Daddy’s Relationship Shapes the Child More Than We Realise Children don't just listen to what parents say. They watch how parents treat each other. They notice how Mum and Dad speak when they disagree. How they handle anger. Whether they apologise. Whether they listen. Whether love and respect remain present even during difficult moments. A child's home becomes one of their earliest classrooms for understanding relationships, communication, conflict and emotional safety. In this video, we look at both sides of the picture: 🌱 How a healthy parental relationship can teach children respect, communication and emotional security 🌱 How constant criticism, hostility or involving children in parental conflict can affect them 🌱 Why parents don't need to agree on everything 🌱 Why healthy repair is more important than pretending to be perfect 🌱 How parents can disagree without making the child feel caught in the middle 🌱 Why children should never be made the messenger, judge or emotional support system between parents And here's something important: Children don't need perfect parents. They need parents who know how to repair. You may disagree. You may get frustrated. You may have difficult days. But when your child sees you come back, communicate, apologise and reconnect, they learn something incredibly valuable: Conflict doesn't have to mean the end of connection. Because perhaps one of the greatest lessons we give our children isn't what we teach them about relationships… It's what we let them experience at home. ❤️ Kavita Rajput Child & Adolescent Counsellor | Parenting Educator #KavitaRajput #ChildCounsellor #ParentingEducator #ChildPsychology #ParentingTips #HealthyFamily #ParentRelationship #ParentingTogether #EmotionalSafety #ChildDevelopment #PositiveParenting #ConsciousParenting #FamilyRelationships #ParentingIndia #HealthyRelationships
