Main channel playlist (eps. 1-6):    • Xenonauts 2   About the game Xenonauts 2 is a turn-based tactical strategy game by Goldhawk Interactive, built on the classic X-COM formula. Set in an alternate 2009 where the Cold War is still very much on, you run the Xenonauts — a secret NATO/Soviet-funded organization tasked with stopping an alien invasion nobody is allowed to admit is happening. The strategy layer is the Geoscape: base building, radar coverage, UFO interception with fighter aircraft, research and manufacturing, and managing the funding regions who expect results. The tactical layer is turn-based squad combat with time units, line of sight, destructible terrain, soldier progression, and permadeath — lose a veteran and you lose the veteran. Early missions pit you against the Cleaners, human collaborators working for the invaders, before you meet anything with too many eyes.
