Is Pricey Carthay Circle Lounge Worth It?

We recently reviewed the elegant Carthay Circle Restaurant upstairs—but today, we’re keeping things a little more casual at Carthay Circle Lounge! Same iconic Hollywood atmosphere, but with a more relaxed vibe, shareable plates, cocktails, and plenty of elevated Disney dining. From an incredible baked bay scallop dish and melt-in-your-mouth short rib sliders to pork belly bao, beef tortelloni, perfectly cooked salmon, and a surprisingly healthy kids meal, there were some serious home runs—and a couple of expensive misses. So, is Carthay Circle Lounge the better way to experience one of Disney California Adventure’s most iconic restaurants?
