New York METS at St Louis CARDINALS 4/6/92 (10) Opening Day Original WWOR & ESPN Broadcast

Opening Day 1992 from Busch Stadium recoded off two version for most complete from Original WWOR-TV and ESPN Broadcasts Digitalized and restored off pre recorded VHS tapes unfortunately both tapes had serious audio issues with distortion and volume and was corrected to the best what I had to work with from both versions sounds like a radio broadcast. David Cone vs Jose DeLeon are the both opening day starters and the hitting star of the game to recent free agent signing Bobby Bonilla gives the Mets the lead in the top of the 4th hitting his first Home Run as a Ny Met and of the 1992 season but the Cardinals answer back in the Btm of the 4th scoring 2 runs including a RBI single from Pedro Guerrero. Mets tie the game in the top of the 9th inning with a RBI from pinch hitter Mackey Sasser off St. Louis reliever Lee Smith. Mets reliever Jeff Innis comes in the 9th and works his way out of the inning with no runs scored. Bobby Bonilla hits his 2nd HR of the a game a two run HR to right off Lee Smith as John Franco comes in the 10th and put the Cardinals down 1-2-3 earning his first save of the season. Jeff Innis get the win (his first win since 1990) and Lee Smith gets the loss. Boxscore https://www.retrosheet.org/boxesetc/1...
