Lullaby of the Leaves Surf Guitar

“Lullaby of the Leaves” began as a 1932 jazz standard. Decades later, instrumental guitar groups such as The Ventures gave it a completely different life. My version takes an edgy approach and pushes it into a darker surf-guitar setting with plenty of reverb, and atmosphere. My Telecaster was crying out to be played on this song! So I went into my pedal board.. a little delay,, distortion and reverb then into Focusrite, edited in a DAW (Reaper) and edited with me on video from my phone all into Adobe Premiere.
