My 10th unreal tower. I can finally say I am apart of the crazy completionists that roam this realm. Before you comment anything, yes. ToTQFP will be the next video I upload on this channel, and this time it is a promise I am willing to keep. Moving onto this tower though, it was a little weird to say the least. The only reason I picked it up was because I was feeling really bored and wanted something else to do in the meantime. I ended up finding this and, thinking it was going to be a fairly mediocre experience, I decided to throw my hat in the ring. Although the details that I described it in proved to be true, the grind itself was very ruthless. A lot of my fails were due to times where I couldn't bother aligning for a certain jump, and it ticked me off a bit after noticing that I was practically at the finish line, but I just wasn't all the way there. I would have definitely enjoyed this tower a lot more if I fluked the whole thing from floor 7, but I ended up getting a true taste of this tower's difficulty. Amassing a grand total of 21 far messages, with half of them not even being webhooked, this tower wasn't a very pleasant experience to say the least. Likewise to Skitsuna's completion on this, the only chokepoints you usually face within the tower are due to you forgetting a strategy or an alignment far into the tower, which is a heavy detriment when it comes to this tower. Strategies and alignments are kind of the reason this tower is less of a pain to beat to be honest, but that's besides the point. At first, I had an incentive to do this because I was getting a lot of mixed opinions on its placement, with some people even going as far as calling this above ToSF. Feeling a bit curious, I made the decision to all-jump it without a video guide, and I was really close to saying the same thing. Unfortunately, this is one of those towers that are extremely experience dependent. Whether you garner a decent amount of fails on the hardest floors, or you fluke all of it by sheer luck, this tower knows no bounds. After getting a feel of the tower with getting lent a bunch of strategies, that myth soon proved to be false. Most of your practice is almost always going to be focused heavily on the later floors, which is the complete backbone of this tower when it comes to difficulty. Your only struggle during this whole grind would be the random inconsistency draughts that you face whilst randomly playing on a relaxing Saturday. In terms of how my experience went, floors 1 and 2 were the absolute worst to keep replaying. It would have definitely been a stroll in the park if I wasn't contemplating on how stuff in this tower works, but we reap what we sow. Nothing much to say apart from how God awful getting the hang of this tower is. You are bound to experience a point in time where attempting this feels useless due to your loopfails on 1 and 2, but that's just how I felt. After going through this tower with Thunder, it for sure felt a lot easier to progress through a lot of the floors, with me previously mentioning that I could have fluked the whole thing from 7. Unfortunately, things took a turn towards south, as I failed 9 to the very first lodge. Knowing how my consistency worked, this wasn't exactly a good thing because I would have to get back and spend even more time trying to do so due to this tower's nature. I was nearing the opinion of calling this horrific, but with the way I played this, I can definitely say it was unreal in my eyes. After around a couple of days, I successfully passed every chokepoint, and got to floor 9 with near world record pace. That run quickly turned out to no avail as I ended up failing pretty much the 2nd last jump of the whole tower, with an astonishing pace of 7:30. Now given that this video still has this pace, it was pretty impressive to me, and I was questioning if I were to give up certain alignments or strategies just to decrease it. Nonetheless, after only about a day later, I got to 10, and then I beat the tower. The only thing I have to say for future grinders is do not play this if you are underskilled. You will not enjoy it at all, and that's a promise.
