From Dusk to Moonlight on a Summer Beach | Portugal 4K

From the last colours of sunset to the first light of the moon, this summer walk captures the quiet transformation of the Atlantic coast as day slowly becomes night. I began this journey near Praia do Meco, at Praia das Artes (or Praia de Alfarim) on the Sesimbra coastline, while a soft orange glow was still visible above the ocean. Descending through the dunes, the sounds of the evening gradually appeared: dune insects, footsteps on sand, and the calm presence of the Atlantic. As darkness arrived, I continued barefoot along the shoreline, letting the waves reach my feet while walking beside the sea. Across the horizon, the distant lights of Sintra and Cascais appeared, while the Cabo Espichel lighthouse flashed in the distance, its light occasionally reflecting on the wet sand and water. The walk ends under a darker summer sky, with the moon emerging behind clouds and the coastline becoming a meeting point of sea, light and silence. This was a Scenic Mind journey shaped by changing light, natural sounds and the quiet beauty of a summer night.
