A Week of Actually Putting Art First | Artist Sabbatical Week 2

This week I really wanted to focus on actually putting art first instead of filling all my time with busy work. (note: the quality is available at 4k!) I finished a new t shirt design (after fighting for my life in photoshop), packed orders, finally cleared enough space in my studio to paint, made journal covers with a friend, spent a full day sculpting, hung out with my grandma and went antiquing, and took a glazing class. I’m realizing that prioritizing art doesn’t necessarily mean finishing something every day. it’s making sure creating, experimenting, and learning get the best parts of my time instead of whatever energy I have left over.
