Besigye says Mbabazi has received a baptism of fire

The Forum for Democratic Change presidential flag bearer Dr. Kizza Besigye has described today’s incident in Soroti, in which the Police dispersed people who had gathered for a rally to be addressed by the former Prime Minister John Patrick Amama Mbabazi, as a baptism into the fight against President Museveni’s rule. Besigye made the remarks while returning nomination forms at The Democratic Alliance offices for the position of the Alliance flag bearer. Besigye also said that he would also abide by his party’s decision to go ahead with the elections as the efforts for electoral reforms continue.
