However, it feels distinct from the typical, deeply immersive Six Senses experience found in regions like Thailand or the Maldives. While the structural design by PTI Architects is sophisticated, some elements—like the "farm" area—felt like an afterthought to meet brand standards rather than a natural extension of the resort’s soul. Service logistics also felt inconsistent during my stay. The typical high-touch Guest Experience Maker (GEM) model felt more passive here, and the food quality at the primary restaurant, Rocka, struggled to deliver on its promise. It is an excellent resort, but it leans closer to a high-end luxury business hotel than the bespoke, holistic wellness retreats I associate with this brand.
