The Exorcist Martyrs Trailer Reaction | The Reaction Times

Just reacted to the brand-new official trailer for The Exorcist: Martyrs! Mike Flanagan is taking the legendary horror franchise in a completely different direction with this dark, vicious serial-killer thriller starring Scarlett Johansson as Detective Julie Miller. Thirteen years after she stopped the satanic killer Father Sunday (John Leguizamo), a new wave of ritualistic murders drags her back into pure evil — with ties to real-life killers like H.H. Holmes and the Zodiac. Chiwetel Ejiofor, Sasha Calle, Diane Lane, and Laurence Fishburne round out an incredible cast. Flanagan himself called this the scariest movie he’s ever made… and after watching this trailer, I believe him. The atmosphere is pure dread. What did you think of the trailer?
