A “Christian” Label on Curriculum Isn’t Enough for Me Anymore Walking away from a curriculum we had loved—and made years of sweet memories with—was not easy. But over time, my husband and I became increasingly uncomfortable with some of the books and online resources it included. That experience taught me an important lesson: a “Christian” label is only the beginning of our discernment, not the end. Education is never neutral. Every book and resource communicates ideas about truth, God, and the world. In this video, I’m sharing why we made the difficult decision to leave, what that experience taught me, and the questions I now ask when choosing curriculum for our homeschool.
