Tokyo, Japan in real 8K HDR. Filmed in 8K RAW during cherry blossom season and color graded in HDR10, this short film shows the largest city in the world at its most beautiful, from sakura in full bloom to the neon lights of Shinjuku and Shibuya at night. Tokyo truly surprised me. Filming a city with this many people is a real challenge, but I absolutely enjoyed every moment of it. This is my second short film shot in Japan, and I can't wait to go back, maybe for an autumn version. The film is split into three parts: Part 1: Sakura. Cherry blossom trees, parks and nature in full bloom. Part 2: Temples. The spiritual side of Tokyo, shrines, gardens and quiet moments. Part 3: Modern Tokyo. From full daylight to the city at night, covered in lights.
