UNION PACIFIC'S HIDDEN SPEEDWAY

Today we dive deeper into the Union Pacific Chester Subdivision running through Southwest Illinois out of Dupo. This is one of the lesser known routes with 70mph track speed, hence the video title. I went along with ‪@BNSFRailProductions‬ ‪@jcsrailfan‬ ‪@RobsHornRepair‬ and @rivercifyrailfanning during these outings. ZG4MQ was the only Z that we got going fast but it’s expected with how the line is dispatched, at least from my experience. We mainly stayed between Fountain, Valmeyer, Maeystown, and Fults IL. Which is about as far South as I’d like to go for now. Anyways hope y’all are enjoying these newer style videos, any tips are helpful, I’m putting a lot of work into these.
