New River Fishing The Slab boys linked up with ADub Fishing on the New River (ironically the oldest river in the Western Hemisphere) to chase HUGE smallmouth bass. The New River holds many fishing secrets that few have experienced, and smallmouth fishing in the New River is certainly one of them (plus topwater smallmouth!). The boys set out on a huge float, fishing the New River down a several mile stretch of some of the best Virginia and West Virginia fishing. New River fishing is something we will do again in the near future, especially for another huge smallmouth or for some epic musky fishing.
