ACA P-50 Siren Test Elwood, IL 1/7/14

Update: This siren has now been replaced by a T-135 AC/DC. Siren: ACA P-50, 3 RPM, 459/690 Hz Town: Elwood, IL (Dresden Exelon siren #22) Location: Mississippi Ave. east of St. Louis St. Test Time: 1st Tuesday of the month 10 AM Cycle: 40 seconds of alert. This is the January 7, 2014, test of the ACA P-50 in Elwood, IL. I had fears that there wouldn't be a test because of the extreme cold, but fortunately Exelon did test. This one is a little lower pitched than some of the other P-50s I've heard. The P-50s appear to have their days numbered as Exelon is starting to replace the AC only sirens in the area, so you'll probably see more videos of P-50s and P-15s from me in the next couple months. Also seen at the end is an old Dresden FS STH-10 that still stands for some reason.
