Dallas DART Light Rail Blue Line Downtown Dallas to White Rock Lake, Kinki Sharyo, 4K Train Ride

Riding Dallas DART Light Rail Blue Line (train model: 1999 Kinki Sharyo) from Akard Station in Downtown Dallas to White Rock Lake. Whenever I'm in Dallas, one of places that I usually visit is White Rock Lake. In my opinion, White Rock Lake is one of the best parks in Dallas. At this park, you can relax, jog, walk, bike, fish, bird watch and meditate. For more information about White Rock Lake, visit their webpage at: https://whiterocklake.org/ Never cross the tracks at the last minute: Near White Rock Station, some guy decided to crossover the rail tracks at the last minute (14:57) and the rail operator went on full blast with the train horn. Kudos to the rail operator for not slamming the brakes! FARE: As of 2023, it recommended to purchase Morning, Midday, or Afternoon Pass (depending on the time of the day). Those fares cost around $2.00-$2.50. However, if you’re planning to ride DART all day, a Local Day Pass is recommended (cost is $6.00). If going to Fort Worth, a Regional Day Pass must be purchased (cost is $12.00).
